Heavy rains lash northeast emirates

Rains ranging between moderate and heavy lashed different parts of Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday and Friday. The torrential rains happened mainly on the internal parts of the northeasterly areas of the country. Several valleys (wadis) were flooded by the heavy downpour, especially at Wadi Asfani, Shaikh Khalifa Road, Wadi Al Helu, Wadi Al Ejeili and the internal mountainous areas.
