President Abdel Fattah el Sisi asserted on Monday in his speech to the World Future Energy Summit deeply-rooted ties between Egypt and the UAE.
Sisi hailed the UAE support for Egypt and its people's aspirations, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.
The president shed light on main challenges that affect the energy sector particularly in Africa.
His speech took up causes of terrorism in the Arab world including the distorted understanding of Islam, said the spokesman.
Egypt's policies in the energy domain were tackled by the president in the speech, he noted
