S. Korea to nurture 50 world-class green energy SMEs

South Korea plans to have 50 world-class green energy small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by 2020 as it moves to secure market share in the growing business sector, the government said Thursday. The Ministry of Knowledge Economy said that under its energy technology development project, Seoul will provide research and development (R&D) support for smaller firms engaged in such areas as solar and wind power generation.
