Reverse gas supplies to Ukraine from Europe fell 14% to 600 million cubic meters in January-June, Ukrtransgaz, operator of the country’s pipeline system, said Wednesday.
In June, Ukraine received 329.3 million cubic meters of gas from Poland and Hungary, a 20 year-on-year decrease.
In 2013, reverse gas supplies to Ukraine from Europe totalled around 2.1 billion cubic meters.
Ukrtransgaz is a subsidiary of Ukrainian state-owned oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy.
