Libyan oil depot
Tripoli - QNA

The Libyan government on Monday appealed for international help after a huge oil depot, on Tripoli airport road, caught fire.
The government said in a statement posted on its official website that the fighting between rival militias caused the huge fire, which could trigger a humanitarian and environmental disaster. It appealed for “international help” but did not specify what exactly the government wants the world to do.
Libyan Interior Ministry stations called on the fighting rivals to ceasefire in order to enable the civil defence to access the scene and extinguish the blaze.
Spokesman for the Libyan National Oil Company Mohamed Al-Harari said the oil depot contains around 90 million liters of fuel.
Tripoli is witnessing fierce clashes in which dozens of civilians were killed and injured.
