Kuwait's donation to IAEA to cover its activities

A Kuwaiti official underscored on Thursday that Kuwait donated 250,000 euro to cover activities of the IAEA, not the activities of the Iranian atomic agency as a local newspaper erroneously reported. Kuwait's ambassador to Austria and the permanent representative to the UN in Vienna Sadeq Maarafi indicated that the donation fell within Kuwait's earnestness in supporting the IAEA in its endeavors to keep world peace and stability.
