Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mohammad Hamed, opened on Monday a solar power project of the Marwa Company, located in Marka district east of Amman.
The 1.1-megawatt project has been set up at an estimated cost of one million dinar. Hamed underlined the importance of solar system's cells and referred to the growing demand for it in various sectors since it helps slash the energy bill.
