
Sudan and Egypt have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to execute a number of projects in the fields of oil and mineral resources.
The ministry of minerals in Sudan and Egypt's ministry of petroleum and mineral resources signed the agreement.
Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum Fekry Yousef said meetings between the two sides were productive, pointing out that a plan was set out to implement the approved projects in 2015.
Yousef added that the MoU would be implemented in accordance with specific timetables between the two sides.
Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Minerals Rashid Ahmed Hussein, for his part, hoped that the MoU would enhance investments between the two countries.
