Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company Ahmed Hanafi said on Wednesday that his company signed a contract for the exchange of electric power in 2015 with the Jordanian national electricity company.
The move comes within the context of the two countries' keenness to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of electricity and make the necessary repairs to the national electrical grids in the two countries by pumping more investments, he added.
