
Electricity Ministry Undersecretary in Qalubiya Hend Abdel Bary announced that EGP 12 million will be allocated for developing electricity grids in the cities and villages of the governorate.
Coordination is going on with the Qalubiya governor to establish electricity-generating stations using solar energy in the governmental institutions and buildings as part of the plan set to save energy.
In statements on Saturday, Abdel Bary said that Gamgara electricity station, which produces 750 megawatts, helped in minimizing electricity outage during summer.
Electricity grids and cables are currently being developed to face electricity outage, she noted.
