EEAA: Energy efficiency project important

Head of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) Ahmed Abou el-Seoud has said that the under-implementation energy efficiency project is one of the most important power projects in Egypt.
The project is funded by the Global Environment Facility and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
In statements on Tuesday, Abou el-Seoud said the project aims at overcoming obstacles facing the industrial sector in Egypt.
"A symposium was held to brief workers on ways of improving energy efficiency and the management systems in the industrial sector," he noted.
