Bahraini energy minister receives dignitary, author

Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received dignitary Yusuf Salah Al-Deen accompanied with Hamad Abdullah who presented to the minister a copy of his book on (The Album of Bahrain's English Newspapers) which documents the long history of English press in the Kingdom of Bahrain since Bapco newspaper was launched in the 1950s, up to Bahrain's present day newspapers.

The author in his book documents the attention of the leadership and the government of Bahrain and their encouragement of journalism and constant keenness of honouring journalists.

The audience thanked the minister for his good reception, lauding the minister and officials in all government ministries and directorates for their support and encouragement to researchers in all fields.
