Starting January 2012, Raffles spa will offer you a whole new facial experience with Eve Lom “the Queen of Cleansing”, one of the world’s most acclaimed and sought-after facialists. Eve Lom Signature Facial 90 minutes Eve Lom’s philosophy is based on the fact that every living organism pulsates with energy, sending out information about the physical, biological and emotional state of the body. Through regular cleaning, decongestion and exfoliation this energy can be regulated to help maintain healthy skin. A consultation with your therapist is followed by a thorough cleanse with the legendary Eve Lom cleanser. A paraffin wax mask is then applied, the heat of which will open the pores, enabling the therapist to extract more easily and thoroughly. This is followed by a half an hour of lymphatic drainage and acupressure massage to the chest, arms, back and face to encourage decongestion. After the massage, Eve Lom’s camphor based rescue mask is applied, which is removed with a hot, chamomile soaked muslin cloth. An ice-cold compress is then applied to refresh and revitalise the skin and to close the pores. Eve Lom Ultimate Cleanse 60 minutes When time is a factor, a one hour deep cleansing treatment including extractions is the perfect answer. This is based on Eve’s Facial to achieve clean, decongested, radiant skin but does not include the extended treatment and lymphatic drainage.
