Fall-Winter 2014 look by Z Zegna Rome - Arab Today The Italian brand will take center stage as the guest designer at the high-level menswear event held in Florence this summer. Scheduled for June 17 to 20 in Florence, the biannual Pitti Uomo is one of the menswear calendar's most anticipated events and this summer's edition will see Milan-based men's label Z Zegna fêted. Zegna is still internally finalizing the project, but the brand will be headlining the show as guest designer with an event on June 19: "it won't be a fashion show but more something like a presentation/event with a performance," said a spokesperson for the brand. The presentation will see the Z Zegna Spring-Summer 2015 collection unveiled, along with a "new creative direction" for the label, which is currently headed by British designer Paul Surridge. Andreas Melbostad's Diesel Black Gold was the guest label at Pitti this January, with the Norwegian designer showing off his first menswear collection for the Italian brand. International fashion houses Carven, Band of Outsiders, Kolor, Jil Sander, Valentino, and Kenzo have all recently been honored as Guest Designers at the event. Source: Relaxnews
