Wall Street opens sharply lower on China woes

US shares headed sharply lower for a third day in opening trade Friday as China's economic troubles fueled another day of equity selloffs around the globe.
Minutes into trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 were both down nearly 1.0 percent and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite lost 1.4 percent.
