UN panel: Foreign investment in Latin America falls 16% in 2014

Foreign direct investment in Latin America fell 16 percent in 2014, reversing a decade-long growth trend, the UN's Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean said Wednesday.
"Inflows were affected by the region's economic deceleration and lower prices for its raw material exports," the commission said in a report, which put the annual investment figure at $158.8 billion.
