Toshiba stocks plunge as it delays earnings report

Toshiba shares dived more than nine percent Tuesday after it surprised markets by delaying the release of financial results that were expected to include billions of dollars in losses tied to its US nuclear power unit.
The Tokyo-listed stock fell 9.45 percent to 226.2 yen ($2) in early afternoon trading.
