Queen's speech: Britain to freeze 3 main taxes

Britain will put forward a law to freeze three main taxes for the five-year duration of the current parliament, Queen Elizabeth II said on Wednesday as she outlined the government's legislative programme.
The Queen said that income tax, value-added tax and national insurance contributions would be frozen, fulfilling a promise made by Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservatives during the election campaign.
