Japan Airlines: 9-month profit up 20% on tourism surge

Japan Airlines said Friday its nine-month net profit soared 20 percent, as the carrier benefited from a surge in tourism and low fuel costs.
The airline said April-December net profit jumped to 143.69 billion yen ($1.19 billion) from the same period the year before thanks to an increase in the number of international visitors to Japan.
