EU clears FedEx takeover of TNT

The EU Commission has cleared FedEx's 4.4-billion-euro ($4.8 billion) deal to buy Dutch rival TNT Express, a key tieup for the e-commerce delivery business, the companies said Friday. "After its investigation, the European Commission has concluded that the deal does not raise any competition concerns," they said in a joint statement. |
