'Brexit' could put London, Frankfurt stock exchange merger at risk

Any vote by Britain to leave the European Union could jeopardise the proposed merger of the Frankfurt and London stock exchanges, the German market's operator Deutsche Boerse said on Friday.
"It is recognised that a decision by the United Kingdom electorate to leave the European Union (a 'Leave Decision') would put the project at risk," Deutsche Boerse said in a statement outlining the main points and rationale behind the proposed merger.
