Bank of England holds interest rate, lowers growth outlook

The Bank of England on Thursday said it had voted to leave its main interest rate at 0.50 percent, as it lowered the outlook for British growth, citing uncertainty before next month's EU referendum.
"There are increasing signs that uncertainty associated with the EU referendum has begun to weigh on activity" ahead of the June 23 vote, the BoE said as it gave it latest projections alongside its monthly policy decisions.
