A Munich-bound train carrying several hundred migrants was stopped at the Austrian border just hours after it left Budapest, where authorities had allowed them to board despite many not having the required visa to travel in the EU.
"There are roughly 300 to 400 migrants on board. They are being taken off the train ... They will then be put on a regional train to Vienna," police spokesman Roman Haslinger told AFP.
