Canada ordered its airlines on Thursday to post two people at all times in cockpits of passenger planes after it emerged that the co-pilot on a Germanwings flight deliberately crashed after he was left alone.
Transportation Minister Lisa Raitt's emergency directive was effective immediately, she said.
