Al Azhar slams US veto against Quds draft resolution

Al Azhar condemned on Tuesday the US veto in the United Nations Security Council aborting an Egypt-sponsored draft resolution on protecting the status of the holy city of al Quds.
The vote proves that the international community rejects the unjust decision taken by the US administration, Al Azhar said in a Tuesday statement.
Al Azhar also praised the Egyptian leadership’s moves at the international level to call for the US decision on al Quds to be withdrawn.
