Expo 2020 Dubai requires concerted efforts and cooperation

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State, and Managing Director of the Higher Committee for Dubai World Expo 2020, today met with Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of the Dubai Municipality, to review mutual relations under the framework of co-operation and coordination between the Expo Committee and the municipality.

Al Hashimy stressed the importance of Expo 2020 Dubai, saying it is a massive event which requires concerted efforts and co-operation to accomplish the desired result, and added that the Dubai Municipality plays a major role in realising this.

The Director-General of the Dubai Municipality said that the municipality has allocated work groups, especially for the event, and added that the municipality will work with the committee as one team to achieve the common objectives in directing this special event, which the city of Dubai has worked effortlessly to embrace and host.
