Sources close to Lebanese singer Ragheb Allama denied that he met with Emirati singer Ahlam during the visit he conducted to Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas in the framework of his visit to Beirut. The sources expressed their astonishment over what was published over the reconciliation between Allama and Ahlam after a period of clashes.
According to the sources, Ahlam was not the reason behind his withdrawal from the refereeing committee of “Arab Idol” TV program, saying that the clashes escalated due to the statements issued by the Emirati singer.
A number of media channels and newspapers said that the two singers have conducted a meeting to bridge the gap of difference before their separate meetings with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during his visit to Beirut.
