Jassar demands $30,000 to sing for Egypt

Kadri el-Haggar, press officer for Egypt's tourism campaign You Light Up Egypt, has condemned Lebanese actor Wael Jassar for demanding his full $30,000 fee to perform at a concert promoting Egypt as a tourist destination in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). El-Haggar also claimed that Jassar had also refused to take part in a concert "in honour of the mothers of the January 25 revolution's martyrs."
