Cairo - Mahmoud Al Rifai
Egyptian singer Hani Shaker confirmed his support for the protests of June 30 in Egyptian squares opposing policies of  Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. Shaker told Arab Today: "I will share the day with Egyptians as I myself am an Egyptian and I feel insecure in my country. I will participate in the protests to regain our freedom." The singer added: "I am against the division between Egyptians. Tamarod protesters are not against Islam, as President Morsi does not represent Islam alone. We are all Muslims and it's our right to defend our religion." Shaker concluded: "I invite President Morsi to listen to the people so that violent acts similar to January 25 Revolution are not repeated."
