Lebanese Poet Ahmed Madi strongly rebuked Rahbani Family, during his participation in “Last Episode” talk show program presented by Lebanese satellite channel “LBC”, describing the songs performed by Lebanese singer Fairouz as unacceptable regarding their subjects and sequence of events.
The statements raised the anger of artist Ghassan Al Rahbani, as he refuted Madi’s statements, pushing the Lebanese poet to strongly condemn him on Facebook.
Rahbani said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he will not respond to his criticism, saying that his opinions do not merit a response. He added, “I will let him talk alone. I will not comment on what he said.”
