Elham Chaheen admits ‘bias’ for women

Egyptian actress Elham Chaheen has admitted to Arabstoday she is “biased towards women,” leading her to take on more work with female writers and directors. “Women are strong like men and all females I work with are creative and have excellent artistic vision,” the actress said in an exclusive interview. Egyptian women were “unique” to the region, she added. While upcoming series Guava Theory is not all-female, Chaheen said: “The series is so good, I had to do it.” Guava Theory stars Elham Chaheen alongside Samir Sabri and Fathi Abdel Wahab and will run for 15 episodes starting next Ramadan.
