El-Helani finds new stage role 'a challenge'

Lebanese singer Assi el-Helani has revealed he is 'exhausted' in rehersals for his new role in musical stage drama Shams wa-Kamar (Sun and Moon), in which he stars alongside actress Nadine el-Rassi. El-Helani said the experience of working as a stage actor was "a new challenge" for him after his work at Caracalla Dance Theatre with Sabbagh brothers, Farid and Maher in the past. The artist explained that he considered such forays into the theatre work as a great addition to his CV. El-Hellani also revealed that he would not be renewing his contract with music label Rotana, but affirmed he continues to have good relations with production manager and owner Prince al-Walid ben Talal.
