27th Jerash Festival opens
Amman - Petra
Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh on Wednesday inaugurated the 27th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The festival, which features music and dance performances by artists from Jordan, the Arab region and beyond, runs through July 14. The festival will also include poetry recitals, seminars, art exhibitions, performances and workshops in Jerash and at the Royal Cultural Centre in the capital.
