ISIS kidnapped dozens of mannequins
Baghdad - Najla al-Taiee

In the early days of his capture of the city of Mosul, the largest city in the north of Iraq, the extremist organization ISIS kidnapped dozens of mannequins, dresses, and colored stones from the shops. Despite the fact that they belong to the category of inanimate, and lack of feelings possessed by human beings, the organization captured them.
The organization did not allow the mannequins to remain in the clothing shops in Mosul, and ordered their confiscation of all the vendors. Suray al-Agha said that ISIS organization prevented the display of mannequins, and harassing shop owners in the markets of Mosul, what led them to close their shops. ISIS prevented the owners of clothing shops from selling jeans to women and men, open clothes, dresses and printed T-shirts.
Aga added that ISIS wanted to wear his uniform. She added that their militants have imposed a new law threatening to jail any man caught wearing skinny jeans or having music on their mobile phones.
In the first, ISIS told shopkeepers in Iraq to put veils over the faces of their mannequins, " she said, adding that the jihadists handed out the ultimatum after seizing the country's second largest city, Mosul, during their latest offensive.
"The main area from which we bought clothes was sharkkhana, a popular neighborhood on the right side of Mosul." "The market was similar to the market near  Imam al-Kadhim shrine in Baghdad, is a big place on both sides of the street, " she described the market. She said prices there were too high.
"The shops of sharkkhana market were importing clothes from Lebanon, Turkey and Syria, and even you can find French and Italian products, but when ISIS entered, the high-end families and shop owners sat in their homes," she indicated
Al-Agha added that ISIS has exploited markets in Mosul, including the women's, and opened several commercial centers for its women. She added that after the ending of Mosul operations, mannequins returned to the stores after the return of life to its nature in the city.
