Daesh reestablishes control over villages in Syrian Raqqa

Daesh terrorist group controlled a number of villages east of Raqqa on Wednesday after launching an attack on Syrian regime posts, Sky New reported.
Both sides suffered casualties, according to the news channel.
Sky News added that those villages were previously under the control of the Syrian government forces after they carried out a large-scale military operation on August 5.
The eastern countryside of Raqqa is considered to be the Syrian government forces' gateway to Deir Ezzor and Daesh's first line of defense.
On a different note, clashes renewed between factions of the Free Syrian Army and government forces in the neighborhoods of Jobar and Zamlaka in Damascus countryside.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported yesterday that elements affiliated to Daesh controlled large parts of Ghanem al Ali village in the eastern countryside of Raqqa.
